Joey (or Joe) is a performer, contemporary aerialist, collaborator, and classically trained actor based in New York City.

Performing throughout his life, Joey’s passion has always been to light up the stage and to bring a concept and experience alive.  With a collegiate degree in acting and directing, Joey is able to seamlessly infuse character and theme into his work.  

Joey began consistently training aerial arts in 2016 after wanting to begin performing in other mediums and being inspired by the storytelling possibilities in the air.

Joey’s creative process focuses heavily on the cornerstones of the “what”, the “why”, and the “how”, to create an engaging experience for audiences in any venue - whether performing a solo act in a theatrical setting or atmospheric aerial in an event space.  

“What” is the story, character, theme or mood that is being conveyed; “why” does it need to be created and given life; and “how” will this be brought alive through movement, artistry, music, costume, and setting?

Joey has performed in New York City and the Tri-State area at nightlife venues such as The Slipper Room NYC and The Red Pavilion, and event spaces such as Iron23 and the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

Outside of performing, Joey is a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, NASM-Certified Nutrition Coach, and AFAA-Certified Group Fitness Instructor, as well as an accomplished transactional attorney.
